So, it's been another long stretch between entries. I guess sometimes one just feels the desire to update and today I feel that desire. So Tom and I made it to Chicago, England and Scotland in the past 2 months. Chicago was a great city, though the weather was not nice at all, we still had a fantastic time. I believe in the next few years I would like to relocate to a bigger city. I'm enjoying Tampa right now, but I just want the experience of living in a big city for a while.

The trip to England and Scotland was fantastic. We were able to travel with some friends that are from there, which made all of the difference in the world. We did the touristy things that anyone would, but we were also able to stay with friends that lived there, which allowed us to experience life from their perspective. It really was a great experience.

Leaving for West Palm Beach after work tonight. It's going to be a fantastic weekend with bad weather or not. Though I do wish it were going to be sunny, because I just love being there when it's a beautiful blue sky. It's my friend Christina's mom's B-day weekend. I don't really want to go in to what we'll be doing, but I will say it's going to be extremely nice.

Work is still going well. We are going through our performance evaluation time right now, so in August I will find out how much of an increase I will receive and also if I will receive a bonus. That all depends on my rating...so fingers crossed on that one.

Moving on, I feel the need to express this. I have been so extremely busy the past couple of months. I could almost consider it overwhelming. This is in part to work and all of the traveling I have been doing. For instance, I have friends that want to get together but then other friends want to get together too because I haven't seem them in forever. So for the next few weeks I am going to be catching up with friends that I haven't seen in a while. One of those friends would be Alicia. I haven't seen her since Thanksgiving! She has also never seen my new apartment, of which I will be moving out of next month, so if she can't come over soon...she'll have to wait and see the next apartment. She was over at my old place all of the time, but I guess back in those days, when I only had college to contend with, time was almost endless because the nights were just as long as the days. Presently, I roughly have about 4 hours each week night to eat dinner and fit in whatever sociable activity comes my way. That is not a lot of time. I do have weekends, but with all that I've been doing lately, weekends are so far and in between that they haven't really been useful either. I guess I'll have to resort to actually phoning people, setting up a time and date to get together(sociable activity to be determined) and write it down in my planner. That way if someone calls I can say, let me check my calendar! Hahaha. It's pretty funny thinking about actually saying that and meaning it, but if I don't start doing that, I won't have time for anything! I guess the next step would be getting a secretary...haha. Ah, I'm quite rediculous sometimes. Well, the time has come...and I guess that's all for now. Take care kids.

I do believe this is the longest I have ever gone without updating. No real reason…I just haven’t taken the time to sit down and do it. It would take too long to recap everything since December, so I’ll just say it’s all gone well. I can’t say great really, because working so much gives me little time to do the things I really want to do especially when the people I want to do things with are on different schedules. But I’ve got a lot going on in the next few months. I’m going to Panama City the weekend of March 25; I’m going to Chicago the weekend of April 22; I’m going to England & Scotland for 2 weeks beginning on May 22; I’m then going to West Palm Beach the weekend of June 10. I can’t wait to begin my adventures. I’m then planning to fly up to Nashville and see Ryan B sometime in June or July. So as you can see I’m a pretty busy guy.

Moving along, work is still going great. I’m really enjoying myself and learning a lot of new things. Beginning in April I will be kind of moving into a dual role working with another group periodically. It’s another group that falls under our department. So, I’ll be learning even more in the near future. I’m also stoked…today is St. Patricks day and at 4:00-6:00 we get to go downstairs and partake in green beer and snacks! How odd  is that…getting paid to drink on the job! Then on March 29th, our group is walking over to Legends Field (where the Yankees practice/play during spring training) at 10:45am and we get to watch the Yankees play the Red Sox along with all the food and beer we can manage. That’s going to be a fun day. That’s really all I have to say at the moment. I hope everyone is doing well. Be good to each other.

I have to update this thing or Amanda will not be happy. I had a fantastic weekend in West Palm Beach. It was really nice to get away for the weekend and relax. I have so much stuff to do...with the top of the list being Christmas presents. Boy this is an expensive season. Anyway, nothing really new is going on. Life is good, what more do you want? I'm trying to think of a funny story to put on here since my last post but I'm drawing a blank. I know there has to be something I've experienced worth relaying to all of you fine folks...nothing comes to mind. Maybe next time. Be good to each other.

Decisions decisions...I just don't know. I hate that place we all get to sometimes where you have to weigh the options between a yes or a no. If I commit my time, will I be stretched too thin or will the reward of doing it far out weigh the strains and struggles of less sleep and un-relaxing evenings? I just don't know. Waiting for a sign...

I had a great weekend. Amanda and Hugh came into town…just like they used to. We didn’t do a whole lot of anything, we just enjoyed our time together. We did have a horrible dinner experience on Saturday night. We all went to the grocery store to get stuff for hamburgers; well as I was standing in line an intense headache hit me from no where. It was one of those, where it’s hard to even concentrate on anything. Well, we picked up some frozen burgers, because we thought they’d be the easiest…well, they were the most awful things I have ever come across. We cooked them on a grill pan which shot grease all over the bloody counter and stove. Not fun. My apartment smelled absolutely horrible for the rest of the night and into the next day. It was bad…and that smell did not help my headache. But, the mood prevailed and we ended up having a good night. The last time we all four were together in Tampa was last September…too long if you ask me. So hopefully they can come down for a weekend every couple of months or so.

In other news, my mom is coming into town next weekend because of her birthday. It will be nice to see her and spend time with her, because last time she came she had to leave in less than 24 hours of her arrival because of the hurricane. This is all for now. I hope everyone is doing well. Here’s to another work week…yeah…fun.
